These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.lbsocial.net, online courses, memberships, subscriptions, AI Study Mode, AI Tutor features, learning tools, and related services operated by LBSocial LLC (“LBSocial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These services are collectively referred to as the “Services.”
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Services.
1. Description of Services
LBSocial provides educational tutorials, courses, learning resources, AI-assisted study tools, and related instructional services in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, cloud computing, GIS, databases, coding, visualization, and related technologies.
Some content or features may require registration, paid membership, course purchase, or subscription access.
LBSocial may update, modify, remove, replace, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
LBSocial does not provide legal, financial, medical, cybersecurity compliance, tax, investment, employment, immigration, or other regulated professional advice.
Any tutorials, code snippets, software configurations, AI-generated responses, diagrams, workflows, cloud architecture suggestions, or technical explanations are provided as learning examples. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any information, code, configuration, workflow, or AI-generated output is appropriate for your own situation.
3. Use of AI Study Mode, AI Tutors, and Chatbots
LBSocial may provide general AI chatbots, course-specific AI Tutors, AI Study Mode, Teaching Mode, Research Mode, and other AI-assisted learning tools.
These tools may use course materials, video transcripts, tutorials, textbooks, graph databases, retrieval systems, and third-party AI models to generate automated responses.
3.1 AI Accuracy and Limitations
AI systems can make mistakes. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, unsafe, or inappropriate for a specific use case.
You must independently verify all important information, code, technical instructions, software commands, cloud configuration steps, security settings, cost estimates, and architectural recommendations using official documentation, course videos, textbooks, or qualified professionals.
You should not rely on AI-generated output as the sole basis for making important technical, academic, business, legal, financial, or operational decisions.
3.2 User Responsibility for Technical Actions
You are solely responsible for any actions you take based on course content, tutorials, code examples, AI-generated responses, or learning recommendations.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Running code, scripts, notebooks, commands, or automation workflows

Using third-party APIs or paid cloud services

Managing billing, quotas, credits, and usage limits

LBSocial is not responsible for cloud charges, API usage fees, data loss, service interruptions, security misconfigurations, account lockouts, or other consequences resulting from your use of tutorials, code, AI outputs, or third-party platforms.
3.3 No Sensitive Information in AI Tools
You must not submit sensitive or confidential information into AI Tutor, AI Study Mode, chatbot, or other AI tools.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Private credentials

Social Security numbers

Government identification numbers

Financial account information

Health or medical information

Confidential business data

Proprietary datasets

Student records or regulated educational records

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit to the Services is appropriate, lawful, and authorized.
3.4 AI Chat Logs and Instructor Visibility
When you interact with AI Study Mode, course AI Tutors, chatbots, or related learning tools, your prompts, questions, AI responses, feedback, timestamps, retrieval logs, and related usage records may be recorded and stored.
These records may be visible to LBSocial instructors, administrators, or authorized course staff for purposes including:

Detecting misuse, abuse, prompt injection, or unsafe behavior

You should not treat AI Tutor, AI Study Mode, or chatbot conversations as private personal diaries or confidential communications.
3.5 Usage Limits and Abuse Prevention
We may limit, throttle, suspend, or terminate access to AI tools or other Services to maintain system stability, control costs, prevent abuse, protect security, or ensure fair access for users.
Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

Prompt injection or attempts to bypass system instructions

Attempts to access unauthorized data, logs, systems, or user information

Uploading malware or malicious code

Automated scraping or excessive automated requests

Attempts to extract proprietary prompts, system messages, course data, or model instructions

Using the Services to generate harmful, unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content

Sharing account access with unauthorized users
4. Learning Paths, Teaching Tools, and Research Features
LBSocial may use graph databases, learning analytics, AI models, and related technologies to generate personalized learning paths, skill maps, course recommendations, dashboards, teaching insights, and research-related summaries.
These features are experimental and may change over time.
Learning paths, skill maps, AI-generated feedback, and automated recommendations are provided for educational support only. They do not guarantee learning outcomes, grades, certification, employment, admission, funding, promotion, or professional success.
LBSocial may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified learning activity, AI interaction data, and usage data for teaching improvement, internal analysis, product development, educational evaluation, and research-related purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If a formal research project requires separate consent, institutional review, or additional participant notice, LBSocial will provide such information where required.
5. Accounts and Registration
You may need to create an account to access certain Services.
You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not share, sell, transfer, or assign your account access without our written permission.
6. Memberships, Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
Certain courses, memberships, subscriptions, or features may require payment.
Prices, billing cycles, included features, and access terms may change over time. Any applicable payment terms will be displayed at or before checkout.
Unless otherwise stated in a separate refund policy or required by law:

Digital course purchases, memberships, and subscriptions are not automatically refundable after access has been provided.

Failure to use the Services does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

All content and materials provided through the Services, including but not limited to videos, text, tutorials, course materials, scripts, diagrams, images, graphics, exercises, quizzes, projects, code examples, prompts, workflows, databases, learning paths, and AI-assisted instructional materials, are owned by LBSocial or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LBSocial grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You may not, without prior written permission:

Copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit LBSocial content

Upload LBSocial course content to other platforms

Share paid course materials with non-paying users

8. User Content
You may submit questions, comments, feedback, projects, files, prompts, code, or other content through the Services.
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights you grant us below.
By submitting content, you grant LBSocial a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, process, reproduce, modify, display, analyze, and create derivative works from such content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, support, and develop the Services, including AI-assisted learning tools and instructional features.
You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit any content you provide and that your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.
We may remove or restrict access to user content that we believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights or safety of others.
9. Third-Party Services and Platforms
The Services may integrate with or rely on third-party platforms, services, tools, or infrastructure, including but not limited to:

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, fees, availability, limitations, and security practices.
LBSocial is not responsible for outages, data breaches, billing issues, policy changes, model behavior, service interruptions, data loss, account suspensions, or other problems caused by third-party providers.
We do not guarantee the continued availability, accuracy, pricing, compatibility, or performance of third-party services.
10. Advertising, Third-Party Links, and External Content
The Services may include advertisements, sponsored links, embedded videos, external links, or references to third-party websites, tools, software, products, or services.
LBSocial does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, advertisements, products, services, content, policies, or practices.
References to third-party platforms, tools, trademarks, logos, software, or services are for educational or informational purposes only and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or partnership unless expressly stated.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:

Some LBSocial features, including AI Study Mode, Teaching Mode, Research Mode, dashboards, learning-path tools, voice features, graph-based recommendations, and other AI-assisted services, may be experimental, beta, preview, or under active development.
Such features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, interrupted, changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.
We do not guarantee that beta or experimental features will become generally available or remain available.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LBSocial disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that:

The Services will meet your needs or expectations

AI-generated responses will be accurate, complete, current, safe, or suitable

Course materials will be free from errors

Code examples or technical instructions will work in every environment

Third-party services will remain available or unchanged

The Services will be secure, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components

Learning paths, feedback, or recommendations will produce any particular educational or professional result
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LBSocial LLC, its owners, instructors, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits

Loss of business opportunities

Cloud charges or API fees

Business interruption

System failures

Security incidents

Data breaches caused by third-party providers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LBSocial’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to LBSocial for the specific course, membership, subscription, or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LBSocial LLC, its owners, instructors, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and partners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe that you have violated these Terms, created security risk, misused AI tools, infringed rights, failed to pay, engaged in fraud, abused the Services, or otherwise acted in a way that may harm LBSocial, other users, or third-party providers.
Upon termination, your right to access the Services will stop immediately.
Certain provisions of these Terms, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, user responsibility, and dispute-related provisions, will survive termination.
17. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a new “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may also change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
