LBSocial LLC (“LBSocial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. 1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and Registration Information

When you create an account, register for a course, purchase a membership, or contact us, we may collect information such as:

Payment card information is processed by third-party payment providers. LBSocial does not directly store full credit card numbers.

1.2 Course Progress and Learning Activity

  • Learning paths and skill-mapping data

1.3 AI Study Mode, AI Tutor, and Chatbot Data

LBSocial may provide general AI chatbots, course-specific AI Tutors, AI Study Mode, Teaching Mode, Research Mode, and related AI-assisted learning tools.

When you interact with these AI tools, we may collect and store:

  • Your text prompts, questions, and chat messages

  • AI-generated responses

  • Course or content references returned by the AI system

  • Feedback such as thumbs up/down, ratings, or comments

  • Usage logs, timestamps, and system performance data

  • Error logs, retrieval logs, and diagnostic information used to improve system reliability

These records may be reviewed by LBSocial instructors, administrators, or authorized course staff for purposes such as academic support, quality control, troubleshooting, safety monitoring, grading where applicable, curriculum improvement, and abuse prevention.

Important: Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential business information, passwords, API keys, health information, financial account information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information into AI Tutor, AI Study Mode, or chatbot tools.

1.4 User-Generated Content

If the Services allow you to submit comments, project work, feedback, files, questions, or other content, we may collect and store that content to operate the Services, provide feedback, support course participation, and improve learning tools.

1.5 Teaching and Research-Related Data

LBSocial may use learning activity, AI interaction data, feedback, and system usage data to improve teaching, evaluate learning tools, conduct internal analysis, and develop educational research or course-improvement insights.

When possible, teaching and research analysis will use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data rather than directly identifiable personal information.

If LBSocial conducts formal research that requires additional consent, institutional review, or separate participant notice, we will provide additional information and obtain consent where required.

1.6 Third-Party Login Information

If you log in through third-party services such as Google or Facebook, we may receive limited profile information from those providers, such as your name, email address, profile image, or authentication identifier, depending on your settings and the provider’s privacy policy.

3. AI Systems and Automated Responses

LBSocial uses AI systems to support learning, teaching, research workflows, and course navigation. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for a specific use case.

AI tools are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Users are responsible for independently verifying important information, code, technical instructions, cloud configuration steps, and any outputs generated by AI tools.

LBSocial may use human review, automated monitoring, and system logs to evaluate AI performance, improve accuracy, detect abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Unless otherwise stated, AI interactions may be processed by third-party AI infrastructure providers to generate responses and operate the Services.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate, secure, and improve the Services. These providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to use it only for the purposes of providing services to LBSocial.

Current or potential service providers may include:

  • Wix.com for website hosting, account management, membership tools, and site infrastructure

  • Google Cloud Run and related Google Cloud services for application hosting, serverless processing, AI infrastructure, logging, and system operations

  • Google Gemini or other AI model providers for processing prompts and generating AI-assisted responses

  • Neo4j or graph database services for organizing course knowledge, learning paths, and graph-based educational data

  • YouTube for hosting and delivering instructional videos

  • Google Analytics and related analytics tools for usage analytics and performance monitoring

  • Google AdSense or advertising partners for advertising and monetization where applicable

  • Payment processors for processing course purchases, memberships, or subscriptions

  • Authentication providers such as Google or Facebook when users choose third-party login

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of LBSocial, our users, or others.

5. Data Visibility and Instructor Access

AI Tutor and course interaction histories may be visible to LBSocial instructors, administrators, and authorized course staff.

This access is used for:

  • Reviewing AI Tutor quality

  • Debugging technical issues

  • Improving course materials

  • Detecting misuse, unsafe behavior, or abuse

  • Supporting grading or assessment where applicable

Users should not treat AI Tutor or AI Study Mode conversations as private personal diaries or confidential communications.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information, course progress, AI chat logs, and usage records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain educational continuity, improve learning tools, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect system security.

Different types of data may be retained for different periods. For example:

  • Account and purchase records may be retained for business, tax, and legal purposes

  • Course progress may be retained while your account remains active

  • AI chat logs may be retained to support learning continuity, instructor review, quality improvement, and safety monitoring

  • Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained for longer periods for analytics, teaching improvement, or research purposes

We may delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Deletion and User Requests

You may request to access, correct, delete, or limit certain personal information by contacting us through our Contact Page.

You may also request:

  • Deletion of your account

  • Cancellation of membership or subscription

  • Removal of specific personal data where feasible

  • Deletion or review of AI chat history, subject to technical, legal, educational, or security limitations

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as required by applicable law.

13. Student, Institutional, and School Use

LBSocial may be used by individual learners, educators, or institutional partners.

If LBSocial is used in connection with a school, university, course, research project, grant, or institutional program, additional terms, consent forms, institutional agreements, or research protocols may apply.

In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and a separate written agreement or approved research consent document, the separate agreement or consent document may govern the specific institutional or research activity.

14. International Users

LBSocial is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Services, technical infrastructure, AI tools, legal obligations, or business practices.
